Collect Your Core Files, these include:
Logos- The best format for these will be SVG or PNG. In addition to the property logos there is a seventh spot to upload a logo on this panel, this is for the management company, The best file format for this logo is SVG.
Property Photos- Every photo used on the site should be uploaded in High Resolution, 1920 X 1280 pixels. Swifty will create multiple sizes of each image uploaded ensuring that every image on the site loads quickly and is compressed appropriately.
Lifestyle Photos - There are several great resources online for stock photography to augment the photos you own and to help bring more life to your site. One royalty free site that is completely free is Unsplash. There are also many Royalty-free subscription sites a few of these are:
Floor Plans - Floorplans are important, Swifty allows you to upload them in several formats. For Optimal design make sure these are uploaded as PNG files with no white background.
Brand Colors - Brand colors are an important part of differentiating your site from others in the market. The Swifty templates take most of the work out of deciding what elements on the site need to be what colors. All you need is the Hex code for primary, secondary and accent colors, we take care of the rest.
Brand Font (or google font alternative) - A good font can make all the difference in how a prospect perceives your site. Lucky for us Google has provided a way for us to choose from hundreds of fonts for free. All Swifty themes are tied into Googles font API making it a breeze to choose the perfect font for your headlines, subheadlines and your body copy.
Upload All of your collected files to the platform
Your username and password can be found in your welcome email
Navigate to the Media Gallery available on the left side of dashboard.
Click on Upload and drop or select all of the files that you prepared in Step 1 over the upload area.
We are ready to start adding property information to the theme
Navigate to the Settings > Property Info Page from the menu on the left
In the "Address & Phone" tab, fill out all of the basic information about your property.
Now choose the "Hours" tab on the left,. This section will allow you to set both summer and winter hours and set the day of the year that you want the hours to be automatically switched.
Lastly and most important click the "Save and Update" button in the top right corner.
Next, head over to the "Settings > Branding" page from the menu in dashboard.
Under the "Logos" tab in the "White version of the Logo" section, click on the "Add Image button" and choose your primary logo white image that you uploaded in Step 3.
Repeat the previous step on each of the six property logos and the PMC logo.
Next, head to Settings > Branding > Color Scheme. This is where we start adding the brand colors that we collected in Step 1.
Simply click on "Select Color" and paste the color code or you can even randomly select the color according to your choice.
Now for the fonts. Click the "Fonts" tab on the left side and select the type of font you require from the drop down menu.
Don't forget to Save/Update
Make sure to click the Save/Update button on top right corner after every step.
